Techsplorers

Carolina Center for Educational Excellence, 9201 Seawell School Road

Chapel Hill, NC

Based in North Carolina, Techsplorers is an outgrowth of the Burroughs-Wellcome funded Techtronics program of the Duke University Pratt School of Engineering and was founded by an Electrical Engineer and educator with over 20 years of industry experience. Our proven curriculum provides kids and young adults (ages 7-18) with exciting, hands-on activities that stimulate their interest in technology, and our summer camps are conveniently located in 6 different locations throughout Raleigh, Durham, Cary, and Chapel Hill.

Students participate in engaging activities, build cool high-tech projects, and are mentored by exceptionally talented engineering students from NC State and Duke University. Although there are many science summer camps in the Triangle area, no other enrichment program offers real high-tech hands-on exposure like this! Our lead instructors are experienced and passionate educators who know how to inspire students and show them how fun STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) can be.
