Christ United Methodist Church, 800 Market Street

Chapel Hill, NC

Our gentle step-by-step method of instruction is designed to help children bloom creatively while learning the fundamentals of ART, WRITING and SPANISH in a calm, friendly environment free of judgment and competition.

Artist Kim Murdock earned her Bachelor of Fine Art degree at Buffalo State College in 1999, and has since dedicated her life to teaching thousands of children in the Triangle that there are no mistakes in art. Creative problem solving skills are routinely emphasized to empower children with self-confidence that will last a lifetime.

Educator and Author Angie Marino earned her Bachelor of Education degree at DePaul University in 2000. Her years of experience as a dual language elementary school teacher and her love of literature have provided her with a vast array of valuable skills to design unique Writing and Spanish Camps.

Our art classes, camps, workshops and birthday parties nurture individual interpretation while offering structured support so everyone can enjoy learning at his or her own pace, thus experiencing the joy of a successful outcome. New students can expect to enjoy learning with us from the very first lesson, and continuing students can look forward to fresh lessons every time! Mentorship opportunities for ages 12-15 are available during our summer camps, as well!
